Marlee's Baptism

This past weekend we went to Marlee’s baptism. Marlee looked so pretty and was very well behaved! She wasn’t fussy at all. I told Emily to take notes so that she is ready for her baptism in February. At the reception, we were able to visit with Emily’s friends, Sophie, Marlee, and Nathan. Marlee, Emily, and Nathan were all born within 7 weeks of each other.

Meeting cousin Douglas

The week of Thanksgiving, Emily got to meet her cousin Douglas and her Aunt Leslie and Uncle Doug. They came down to visit from West Virginia before heading to see Emily and Douglas’ great-grandmother in St. Augustine. While they were here, we went to the Aquarium for the first time. Douglas loved looking at the fish and otters, and even little Emily seemed to enjoy it! I think she liked the lights the most.

Emily's 1st Out of State Adventure

This weekend we decided to enjoy the fall weather and leaves, so we packed up the car and headed to Blue Ridge, GA for a train trip with Nanna and Poppy. Although this was only a day trip, I felt like I was packing for a week long trip. It's amazing how much stuff you have to bring for such a small child. The train took us along the Toccoa River, just across the state border into Tennessee.
